Komedie Morganovi vypráví příběh velice úspěšného manželského páru z Manhattanu, Paula a Meryl Morganových (Hugh Grant a Sarah Jessica Parker), jejichž dokonalý život má jen jedinou chybičku – rozpadá se jim manželství. Problémy v lásce ale nejsou ničím ve srovnání s tím, co na ně osud chystá vzápětí: jsou svědky vraždy a stanou se středem zájmu nájemného zabijáka. FBI se je jakožto svědky snaží ochránit a pošle proto Morganovi z jejich milovaného New Yorku do malého městečka ve Wyomingu, kde je partnerský vztah, který narážel na jistá úskalí, nucen čelit Skalistým horám... leda by se Morganovým v jejich novém životě oproštěném od BlackBerry podařilo trochu zpomalit a znovu probudit vzájemnou vášeň
