V této bizardní komedii s nádechem ironie i dramatu se podivně propletou dohromady osudy tří Newyorčanů na Staten Island. Ethan Hawke se opět dává dohromady se scénáristou remaku Přepadení 13. okrsku, aby spolu namíchali výbušný kokteil pro diváky, i kdyby místo vystřelených patron měly z plátna lítat jenom sarkastické poznámky a zpackaná životní rozhodnutí.
