Pokračovanie úspešného akčného fantasy RPG Sacred. Hra sa odohráva vo svete Ancaria, kde je hlavnou substanciou tzv. T Energia, ktorá je považovaná za základ všetkého. Na využitie T Energie dohliadali dlho Serafínovia, ktorí správu neskôr zverili do rúk Elfom. V rámci ich rasy sa však po čase vytvorili skupiny, ktoré chceli T Energiu využiť podľa svojho. Nastalo obdobie nepokojov, ktoré vyústilo v hroznú vojnu, ktorá mala za následok pád elfskej ríše.T Energia sa dostala mimo kontrolu a premenila zvieratá na príšery, z krásnej zeme urobila neobývateľné pustiny a z miest urobila ruiny. Nastalo ďalšie obdobie vojny, ako sa rôzne party snažili ovládnuť T Energiu. Tentoraz však ide o vojnu, ktorej dôsledky sú ďaleko rozsiahlejšie, než si kto vie predstaviť. Preto je potrebný hrdina, ktorý dokáže vojne zabrániť a T Energiu ovládnuť. Či ju potom použije pre konanie dobra alebo zla, to už záleží iba na ňom alebo na nej.Hra ponúka možnosť hrať za celkovo 6 odlišných postáv - Serafín(ka), Inkvizítor, Elf, Dryáda, Chrámový strážca, Tieňový bojovník. Každá postava vyniká v iných bojových schopnostiach a každá z nich má svoje vlastné ciele a motivácie. Svoje bojové schopnosti rozvíjate s vybranou postavou v rámci jednej z dvoch kampaní, ktoré síce začínajú rovnako, ale rozvíjajú sa úplne inak podľa toho, či sa rozhodnete nasledovať temnú alebo svetlú cestu.
