Majesty 2 naváže na veleúspěšný (prodalo se několik milionů kusů) první díl a opět hráče obsadí do role vládce fantasy říše, který ji musí dostat z desolátního stavu – zahnat příšery a bandity, vydělat prachy, zvelebit město i říši a tak dále. Tohle všechno však nebudete dělat přímo sami, ale prostřednictvím svých poddaných, které musíte k takové činnosti něčím motivovat. Nebudete je přímo ovládat. Pokud půjde o zahnání draka z jeskyně, tak na veřejnou tabuli zadáte quest včetně podmínek a odměny a pak už jen počkáte, až se vám někdo přihlásí. Podobně to chodí s většinou úkolů ve hře. Jde tedy o ultimátní podobu tzv. božských strategii, kdy musíte mít AI přečtenou a dobře nastavovat podmí úkolů, určovat priority a hlavně se bavit poťouchlým humorem, kterým byl první díl nasáklý a druhý snad bude taktéž. K vydání Majesty 2 dojde v prvním čtvrtletí příštího roku.
